Display is a space for digital practice in a formerly vacant shop in Frankfurt's city centre. It is run by NODE e.V. on behalf of and in cooperation with the City of Frankfurt's Digitalisation Unit and opened on 18 February 2026. YRD.Works designed the spatial concept and the furniture system and organised and supervised the realisation.

The basis is a grid that refers to digital systems in which meaning comes from the arrangement of the smallest units. Perforated timber battens with 9 mm holes at 5 cm spacing form a construction kit from which all furniture is built: shelving, flex desks that hook into the battens, a tiny makerspace and a central bar. As with a metal construction kit, the parts can be recombined, extended and rebuilt again and again, so the room can be set up for events, co-create sessions or workshops as needed. For the lighting concept, YRD.Works designed and realised controllable lights that serve as task lighting during the day or as accent and event lighting in the evening, depending on use.

Traffic blue and traffic green run through all the furniture and mark it as one family. The green recalls a green screen. Through the shop window facing Kornmarkt, the room looks like an aquarium from outside and becomes a stage for the street. This is where the title comes from: Display means the digital screen, the shop window and the room that exhibits its own work.
