In the performative installation Not Not Pizza, created in 2018 as a collaboration between YRD.Works and the artist and graphic designer Eike König, the Kressmann-Halle in Offenbach was transformed into a temporary pizza delivery service for two weeks. There, the artists made pizzas in three different versions and delivered them in special boxes, hand-printed by König and numbered as an ongoing edition. For 14 days, a dedicated hotline connected callers with the artists in their pop-up pizzeria to have orders delivered to their homes.

The artists personally delivered the roughly 500 pizzas, produced by hand during this time, on scooters, carrying their action across the entire city. This created an unusual form of art reception. Visitors or customers did not have to be on site; they could also take part in Not Not Pizza from their own homes. On two dates, the production site in the Kressmann-Halle was also opened to the public, allowing visitors to watch the artists' performance live.

The interior of the pizzeria was recreated so faithfully that the difference between an everyday delivery service and a staged art performance was barely recognisable. Were these limited, handmade editions of edible art objects, or just ordinary fast food distributed by the artists?

Not Not Pizza plays with classic exhibition strategies and the decisions behind the presentation of art. Who determines the content of exhibitions, and can that content, if need be, emancipate itself from its location?
